Mastodon Upgrade

Our Mastodon server (Shared IP 209.59.143.115) will undergo a hardware upgrade tonight which will involve an estimated downtime of 30 minutes to 1 hour. We will be upgrading to a faster machine with 8 Xeon cores and 6GB of RAM. The hard-drives will be swapped so IP's, nameservers, etc... will remain the same, no changes needed on your part. The actual downtime should only be a 15 minutes or so, but we're going to over-estimate just in case of any complications.

The upgrade will take place tonight sometime after midnight (Eastern Standard U.S. time).

The Mastodon server upgrade is now complete. Mastodon now sports Dual Xeon E5405 Quad Core Harpertown processors (8 cores total, 2.0GHZ per core.) and 6GB of RAM. This should provide a significant upgrade in speed and performance.
